Farm Secretary Required

Position: Shorts Agricultural Services Limited require a Farm Secretary for a busy agricultural contractor
Location: Based near Winkfield, Berkshire
Salary: Subject to negotiation
Description: Applicants must be highly motivated, have good communication skills and be an enthusiastic  team player. Practical experience or an understanding of agriculture is essential combined with good computer skills.
Duties to include : digital mapping, data inputting, record keeping, Maintaining staff records, Cross compliance, Health and safety, General typing, Ad hoc admin tasks, organising the delivery and spreading of our fertilizer products.
Knowledge of Microsoft software is essential.  Gatekeeper, Farmade and Patchwork software experience would be useful but not essential as training will be given.

Shorts Agricultural Services require a Mechanic / Yardman  

Position: Full Time Mechanic/Yardman
Location: Based near Winkfield, Berkshire, and working in the surrounding counties
Salary: Based on experience and qualifications
Description: We are looking for an experienced mechanic/yardman to maintain a fleet of modern John Deere and New Holland Forage conservation and spreading machinery. The ability to keep maintenance records is a must.
You will also be required to load and unload delivery lorries and drive machinery at busy times.
