With the arrival of a new “Waste Collection Vehicle” to our fleet, we have launched an “art project” using this new vehicle as a mobile “canvas”, for an individual’s piece of artwork from a local school depicting recycling as seen through the eyes of today’s youth.

Rules & Instructions of the Competition:

Entry must be from individual pupil from Year 6 or 7 (ages 10 – 12)
Theme of the artwork is “Recycling”…through the eyes of the ‘artist’
All artwork has to be to the size stipulated (border dimensions: 395mm x 150mm – presented upon A3 sized paper…..see enclosed explanatory instructions)
Entry to be submitted by Friday 29^th June, 2012
Entries with entry form attached will be collected by Shorts Group personnel
All entries to be judged independently

Prizes:

‘Artist’ & school will be acknowledged alongside artwork on the vehicle
Prizes to both individual (Apple iPod touch) & donation to school Art Dept

Shorts Group today launches its new website.

It is part of a complete revamp of the Shorts Group website and online presence which includes new websites for each of the Shorts Group Ltd and Shorts Agricultural Services Ltd varied range of services.
