Plant Hire Department expand offerings with the arrival of Jason Southam

The company recently reaffirmed its business ethos by welcoming Jason Southam to Shorts Group, as the Plant Hire Manager. With more than 20 years of experience in the building industries, Jason brings a deep knowledge of the needs of builders and contractors. He has a wealth of practical experience of the plant hire trade as well, having previously served as the Operational Director for a small plant hire company.
Jason Southam is the new Plant Hire Manager at Shorts. He joined the company in November 2008.
Managing Director, Gary Short, was very excited about Jason’s appointment:
“Even in difficult economic times, we’re committed to excellence and professionalism of service. Prior to Jason’s arrival, we had expanded our offerings within our Plant Hire Department. Simply offering a range of tools for hire does not always meet a customer’s needs. To that end, Jason’s thorough knowledge of Shorts Group’s available equipment and their best uses will serve the company’s customers well. Jason Southam, the new Plant Hire Manager, explains:

Following our advice, we’ll make sure that they don’t get something too big or too small – but just right. The right equipment on their sites will help our customers get their own work done on time. It’s a question of providing the proper tool for the task at hand.”
